competitions and 1 convention during the year. We can also attend optional competitions should students want to

- February 13 to 15 StarQuest - March 6 to 8 Rainbow Dance - April 23 to 26 Conventions (we will be attending one of the following): LA Dance Magic - February 28 to March 1 Tremaine - March 21 to 22 Information on joining our Dance Company movinNgroovin will be offering 2 Competitive Dance Company teams in the 2008-2009 season: - Full Competitive Dance Team - Hip Hop Dance Team Our movinNgroovin Dance Company had a fun and successful season. We will be holding tryout/placement auditions for our 2008-2009 Competitive Dance Company Teams: • Full Competitive Dance Company • Hip Hop Dance Company Tryouts/placement will be held on Thursday, July 31st at 5pm or Thursday, August
7th at 5pm. If you are unable to make either of these dates, please see Lilian or David. The Hip Hop Dance Company Team was created for those
interested in just performing Hip Hop routines. For Full Company auditions, please make sure your child dresses appropriately.
They will be learning choreography for Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop for proper placement into the dance company. For Hip Hop
Dance Company only, your child just needs to wear comfortable clothing (no jeans) and tennis shoes. They will just learn
Hip Hop choreography. For our Dance Company (Full and Hip Hop), we will be participating in 3 local Regional competitions which take place
anytime between January and the end of May. We will also provide people with the opportunity to go to optional competitions.
