DANCE Alexandra Wilson - Director of Dance Alexandra Wilson is the Director of our
Dance program. Alexandra has an extensive background in Dance. She received her BFA in Ballet and Modern from
the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has performed in works such as: Balanchine’s
Serenade, Paul Taylor’s Aureole, Fokine’s Les Sylphide, and many works by Paula Weber, Jennifer Medina, Loren
Whittaker, Rodni Williams and DeAnna Hiett. Alexandra is currently dancing with Storling Dance Theater and is also the
Assistant Director of Signature Dance Company. Amy
Gardner Amy Gardner recently received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance from Texas Christian University, with
previous training from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has performed in works choreographed by Elizabeth Gillaspy,
Susan Douglas Roberts, Mica Trojacek, Mary Pat Henry, and co-choreographers William Cannon and Whitney Moncrief. She has participated in workshops
by Alonzo King, Alexander Beller, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Paul Taylor Dance Company,
Keigwin and Company, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, and Conny Janssen Danst. Amy spent the summer of 2008 as an Education
Intern at the Internationally known Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, MA. This past spring her choreography was
performed at American College Dance Festival in College Station, Texas. Darsi Eveland Darsi Eveland received her Bachelor's Degree in dance from UMKC, and
has been awarded top choreographer at Showbiz, International Dance Challenge, & Worlds of Fun Dance Competitions. Eveland has performed on the Starlight
Theatre stage in "Hair", "Jesus Christ Super Star" and "Oliver". She has also performed at Worlds of Fun, Tivoli theatre, Starlight previews
at the Crown Center, and choreographed "South Pacific" at the Theatre in the Park. She was choreographer for the KC Tap & Jazz Troupe at Dixie Bell Dance
Center, located in Shawnee, Kansas, for twenty-five years,
competing locally and nationally. Eveland was the founder & director of the KC Kids Christian Performing Arts Company,
and is currently the dance team coach for Louisburg
High School, and models and teaches for Hoffman International.
Dixie Bell Dixie owned and operated Dixie Bell
Dance Center in Shawnee, Kansas for thirty-eight years. She trained many dancers who have gone on to become competition
dancers, dance instructors, studio owners, Broadway dancers, Rockettes, theme park performers, and cruise ship performers.
As her former dancers continue to spread the knowledge and love of dance she instilled in them, Dixie is happy to be in the
studio again working with the dancers at movinNgroovin.
Grace Winkel Grace brings over 14 years of dance experience to movinNgroovin. She has extensive experience in
tap, jazz, and ballet, and has participated in various regional and national dance competitions, including NYCDA (New York
City Dance Alliance). In addition to her dance background, Grace has participated in competitive volleyball for 3 years.
Grace currently attends the University of Oklahoma and graduated from Blue Valley West.
Kimbely Holloway Kim
Holloway is a first year company member with Störling Dance Theater. She recently graduated from Belhaven College where
she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in dance. She has also studied for a summer with the American Dance Festival
and the Atlanta Ballet. She has been teaching at Grace Camps in Chapel Hill, NC for the last six years. She enjoys choreographing,
and her work has been performed in Mississippi, North Carolina, Moldova, Japan, and Romania. She performed with the Belhaven
College Dance Ensemble including solo roles with choreographers Steve Rooks, Randal Flynn, and Laura Morton. She has also
performed with the Mississippi Improv Alliance, American College Dance Festival Association, Southeast Regional Ballet Association,
and North Carolina Dance Festival. Lisa Bartlett Lisa brings incredible talent and skill to movinNgroovin. Lisa is the lead Hip Hop teacher at movinNgroovin.
She has choreographed routines for various community performances and dance competitions. Lisa began her Urban
Hip Hop training in Canada where she trained with many artist, including the break dance crew J. Fish. She later joined
GX International with whom she has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, and Brazil.
In addition to her performances with GX International, Lisa placed 3rd at the 2003 Ready or Not B-Boy National Competition
Crew Battle in Canada. Lisa’s current responsibilities at GX International include creating choreography, staging,
and costume designing for their various shows and competitions.
MacKenzie Eveland Mackenzie is a senior on
the award winning dance team at Louisburg High School. She recently was awarded “Outstanding Top Soloist,”
and “All American Dancer,” at MA Dance’s
summer dance camp in Maryville, Mo. Mackenzie has been a competition dancer since the age of seven, and has competed nationally with Dixie Bell Dance Center. She attended
numerous conventions, and was awarded “Studio Dancer of the Year,” and also was awarded convention scholarships at Tremaine Dance Conventions. She was an International Dance
Challenge Solo Semifinalist in Daytona Beach, and was awarded
“All American Cheerleader,” in Dallas, Texas. Mackenzie also models for Hoffman International. Mackenzie
is excited to be working with the students here at movinNgroovin.
Natalie Wilson - Bio Coming Soon
Nathan Thomas Nathan, a native to the Kansas City area, has
been dancing for over 11 years. He has performed locally in the KC area with numerous dance companies, and has performed with
Andy Williams at the Moon River Theatre in Branson, Missouri. His dancing has also allowed him to travel the globe working
with Holland America Cruise lines, Stiletto Entertainment and a tour of Europe with the Tanzsommer Dance Festival. In
addition to teaching at movinNgroovin, Nathan is choreographing Shawnee Mission South High School's musical production
of "Crazy for You".
GYMNASTICS, TUMBLING, PARTY, ADMIN Katie Munn - Assistant
Director of Gymnastics Katie will be attending the University of Arkansas. Katie graduated from Blue Valley
Northwest High School where she played Varsity Golf and was a member of the National Honor Society. Katie
also has an extensive athletic background, being involved with Dance and Gymnastics for 13 years, playing Soccer for 15 years
and Track for 9 years. For Soccer, Katie has played for KC Legends Soccer Club and also helps run Soccer Camps during
the summer. Katie was born in Springfield and has lived in Overland Park for 13 years. Adam Foote Adam currently attends Kansas State University. Previously,
he was Captain of the varsity Tennis Team and played varsity Soccer while attending Blue Valley High School. Adam has
an extensive athletic background, playing soccer for 14 years and tennis for 10 years. In addition, he played club soccer
with the Blue Valley Stars and currently referees and umpires basketball, soccer, volleyball, and baseball games. Alex Visk Alex attends Blue Valley West where he is a member of
the Varsity Football and Basketball teams. He plays safety and wide receiver for the State Champion Jaguars. For
Basketball, Alex plays guard. In addition to Football and Basketball, Alex has over 8 years experience playing Baseball.
Deserae Minor Deserae has an extensive
educational and dance background. She has earned her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and earned her degree in
Middle School Education with a minor in mathematics. She also has taught all levels and subjects at Sylvan Learning
Center for 3 ½ years, was a Lead preschool teacher at Children’s World Learning Center for One year and taught
Algebra, Geometry at Oregon Trail Jr. High for 4 years. Deserae has created and ran tutoring programs, has been published
in three different papers for projects she created for her students and was nominated for Kansas Teacher of the Year in 2004.
Deserae has also coached the award winning dance team for four years at Oregon Trail Jr. High. Maria Fournier - Bio Coming Soon

Taylor Mayes Taylor currently graduated from the University
of Kansas City Missouri, with a degree in Education. She is an alumnus of Shawnee Mission South. She danced on the Pacesetter
Varsity Drill Team for 2 years as well as a being a member of the cheerleading squad, being Captain of the Cheer Squad her
sophomore year. Taylor also worked with the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders and is currently a Diamond Girl with the
KC Panters Football team. In addition to Cheer, Taylor has an extensive dance background, with a focus spent on Jazz.
Taylor currently teaches middle school in the Kansas City School district. Trevor Rosewicz Trevor attends Blue Valley West where he is a member of the
Varsity Soccer and Tennis team. Trevor has over 12 years experience in Soccer, playing competitive Soccer for the Blue
Valley Stars, in addition to being on the Blue Valley West Jaguars team. In addition to Soccer and Tennis,
Trevor also has experience with Basketball and Baseball.
